Founder, President, & Chairman of the Board
Shane has a passion for people and desire to help as many people as possible. His mission in founding UNITED UVC was to source the world's best airborne sanitation technology and make it available to the masses. Shane has directed the company to form relationships with the world's leading manufacturers of this capital intensive technology. He has broken down the barriers to entry allowing most customers, small and large, opportunity to finance the technology directly through UNITED UVC or one of it's global business partners.
Shane holds an Executive Masters of Business Administration, honors distinction, from Quantic School of Business and Technology. He is also an EPA certified Indoor Air Quality technician. Prior to starting UNITED UVC, Shane was a financial leader working for some of the world's largest hospitality companies.
Dr. Jonathan Wade
Dr. Jonathan Wade is the Senior Educational Technologist at Western Carolina University, a regional comprehensive university that is a part of the University of North Carolina State University System. Dr. Wade has decades of experience in private and public education at all levels.
He has served as an administrator, as a board member, as an IT manager, and as a faculty member, project and change manager, and institute facilitator. In his current role, he works to negotiate stakeholder needs with governance, compliance, policy, and funding realities.
He has a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas, a MA from Vanderbilt University, and certificates in Project Management and Non-Profit Management from Western Carolina University and Duke University. He has recently completed his Executive Master of Business Administration from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
Dr. Bryan Sykes
Bryan is an innovative global healthcare leader and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience leading disruptive and technology-enabled companies. He is a passionate advocate for Global Health Care Equivalency which is an initiative that envisions a future where any individual on the planet has access to the same advanced and cost-effective nanomedical diagnostic and therapeutic technologies toward creating greater health for all.
Bryan is co-author of the upcoming Nanomedicine, Nanotechnology, and AI: Toward the Dream of Global Health Care Equivalency and Molecular Manufacturing: The Emergence of the Grand Equalizer.
When he is not traveling, speaking, or advising healthcare startups, Bryan finds solace as a long-time martial artist.
Dr. Pinak Joshi
Dr. Pinak Joshi is a Harvard trained physician-scientist passionate about preventing the spread of illness for the major diseases of our time. He has a background in pathology and now works as a drug safety physician in the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Joshi has an expert knowledge of US FDA, MHRA, EMA, and PMDA regulations, and how they respond to recommendations from authorities such as the CDC and WHO. He serves as an ad-hoc advisor and board member for several health-tech startups and has completed an impact investment fellowship from Vectors Angel, focusing on healthcare deals.
He holds an M.D. from St. George’s University, an M.S. in Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida, and a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is currently pursuing an M.B.A. from Quantic School of Business and Technology.
With nearly a decade of real estate sales experience in the South Florida market, Mr. Garcia is a successful and well-respected real estate professional with the United States largest home builder Lennar Corporation. With a specialty in new construction and being bi-lingual, he has assisted many local and international buyers throughout Latin America in investing in the US market.
Mr. Garcia is a 3rd generation real estate professional with a thorough knowledge of the development business including marketing, financing, sales, and construction process. Mr. Garcia holds a Master of Science in International Real Estate from Florida International University’s Chapman graduate school of business.
Mr. Garcia currently sits on the Florida International University’s Hollo School of Real Estate advisory board, has assisted in leading various community service initiatives in South Florida, and is passionate about finding solutions to ongoing diseases in today's world.
